Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 September 2026. This policy explains what Hocirt does and does not collect when you use this website.

The short version

Hocirt has no accounts, no logins, and no coin purchases, so there is very little about you for us to hold. Your coin balance and round history exist only in your browser's memory while the page is open and are gone the moment you reload or close the tab. We never see them.

Information you give us

The only way to send us personal information is to email us. When you do, we receive your email address, whatever you put in the message, and any details you volunteer — typically your browser and device when you are reporting a bug. We use that information solely to answer you, and we keep correspondence only for as long as it is useful for support and record-keeping purposes.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly all websites, ours is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs. These may record your IP address, the pages requested, timestamps, referring addresses, and basic browser and operating system information. Such logs exist for security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing faults. We do not use them to build profiles of individual visitors.

Cookies and local storage

The game itself sets no cookies and writes nothing to local storage. If we ever introduce analytics or any technology that stores information on your device, this policy will be updated first and we will seek consent where the law that applies to you requires it.

Children

This site is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. If you believe a minor has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the site work — principally our hosting and email providers, who process it on our behalf — and where we are legally required to disclose it, such as in response to a valid legal request.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection and we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but the surface here is deliberately small.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its processing, or to receive a copy. Write to support@hocirt.com and we will respond within the period required by the law that applies to you. In practice, for most visitors the honest answer will be that we hold nothing beyond a server log entry.

Third-party links

This site links to a small number of external resources. Those sites have their own privacy practices and we are not responsible for them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes or the law does. The revision date at the top always shows when it last changed, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised version.
