Hocirt Social Glass Hall
About

The hall and the window

Who builds Hocirt, what we decided not to do, and why the whole product is a single pane of light.

Hocirt began with an argument about menus. One of us had spent a fortnight counting how many taps it took to reach an actual game on a handful of social casino sites, and the answer was never fewer than four. The rest of the time went to lobbies, carousels, badges, and pop-ups advertising other lobbies. We decided the corrective was obvious: build one game, put it on the front page, and let everything else on the site exist only to explain or support it.

The name and the look

Hocirt is an invented word — it carries no meaning we inherited, which is exactly why we liked it. The identity came afterwards, from stained glass: jewel-toned panels held apart by thin dark leading, colour arranged into geometry rather than illustration. Ruby, sapphire, emerald and amber do all the decorative work on this site. There is no gilt, no velvet, and no ornament that isn't simply a coloured shape doing its job.

That reference is architectural and nothing more. We took the grid, the leading lines, and the arch at the top of a panel, and left everything else where we found it.

One game, made properly

Lumen Reels is a three-by-three slot with five fixed paylines. Nine symbols are drawn at random, the reels settle one by one, and matching panes across a row or a diagonal pay out against a table we print in the open. It is a small mechanic, and small mechanics reward attention. We spent most of our build time on the weighting of the symbols, the legibility of the reel window at arm's length, and making sure the balance arithmetic is correct to the coin on every line of every spin.

There is no plan to add a second title simply to have one. If Hocirt ever grows, it will be because a mechanic earned its place beside this one.

Free means free

Every coin on this site is given away. There is no shop, no checkout, no currency pack, and no premium tier waiting behind a paywall. Coins have no cash value, cannot be traded, and cannot be converted into money, goods, or anything else. If your balance runs out, one button hands you a fresh 5,000 and a page reload does the same. That is the entire economy, and we intend to keep it that simple.

It also means Hocirt is not gambling and does not pretend to be. Nothing on this site accepts a deposit or pays out a withdrawal. What we offer is the shape of a casino game with the money removed — the timing, the nerve, the small sting of waiting one beat too long.

Who this is for

Adults aged 18 and over who want a quick, honest, well-lit few minutes. We ask people to treat it the way they would any other game: play when it is fun, stop when it stops being fun, and never as a way to practise for something played with real stakes. Our responsible play page sets out that thinking at greater length.

Contacting us. Hocirt is operated by a small independent development team. Questions, bug reports, and accessibility feedback all reach the same inbox — see the support page for details and a rough idea of how quickly we reply.
